Creating Reusable Subsystems
Use of subsystems can simplify and modularize complex systems. Any subsystem can be “exploded” to display its contents for review or modification. Subsystems can be stored and retrieved from a library for easy reuse. Here, the gas and liquid inlet section and tee have been grouped to form a subsystem (denoted Gas/Liq Supply in the main system window). The foreground window shows the “exploded” subsystem, launched by double-clicking on the subsystem icon.
