More than 2,800 technical experts from around the world will gather next week for the premier conference devoted to all-things turbomachinery. The ASME Turbomachinery Technical Conference take place in Phoenix, AZ on June 17-21. Presentation topics vary from combustion to compressor aerodynamics to waste heat recovery. The exhibition will feature over 120 vendors of turbomachinery-related products and services.
Creare LLC will be making two presentations at the conference:
- “Aerodynamic and Structural Design of a Centrifugal Fan for an Air Cushion Vehicle” (paper GT2019-91738)
- 8:00 am Monday, June 17, Technical Session • 221-A • MA-25-1
- “Automated Inspection and Defect Detection in Aerospace Components Using Laser Scanning”
- 1:00pm Tuesday, June 18, Exhibitor’s Presentation Stage
Creare is a leader in the design and development of high-speed axial and centrifugal turbomachines, vacuum pumps, scroll pumps, CO2 compression systems, and air liquefaction equipment. Creare has developed and demonstrated advanced heat recovery heat exchangers and recuperators for gas turbine engines. We also invented an automated fastener measurement tool (FMT) to meet the exacting requirements of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program. The FMT uses a multi-line laser scanner to create a 3-D point cloud representation of the fastener and aircraft surface profile.
