Creare Award from NASA Flight Opportunities Program
Creare has developed an innovative device that will enable reliable and efficient transfer of cryogenic rocket propellant in microgravity. Propellant transfer is a key technology needed to support future space exploration missions. Our screened channel liquid acquisition device enables rapid transfer of cryogenic liquids across a wide range of operating conditions while preventing vapor ingestion into the transfer pump. NASA’s Flight Opportunities Program has awarded Creare a contract to design and build a test rig for demonstration of the device on parabolic flight tests that simulate operation in space.
